April 18th, in-person
1-4pm PST
Come gather in the rising energy of Spring to create in community!
Together we will pour love, blessings and intentions into crafting each of our teapots—something to hold, to serve, to carry your visions and ideas for years to come.
Through a guided meditation and visualization, we will soften into our creative process, and move from writing and sketching before building and shaping your loving vessel.
Our afternoon will open with a cacao ceremony prayer and blessing, and close with tea and nourishing treats to ground and integrate.
Our gathering will be an intentionally small and intimate space for 12 artists to create, celebrate and welcome the life giving Spring energy as we move forward into the year.
Additional time to glaze any remaining pieces from previous ceremonies will be allotted as well.
opening cacao ceremony
all clay, tools, and materials
guided hand-building instruction
abundant seasonal harvest foods and snacks to follow clay instruction
firing of your bisque piece (ready for pickup at a later date)
glazing to be done at a future open studio time OR
you may ask for Katy to glaze your piece for you (pickup at a date 2-4 weeks following)
🌸 Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person if you can no longer attend!
